Apostle Willie B. Jefferson

Elegance, dignity, faith-filled, love, and courageous are all words that depict Apostle Willie Bell Jefferson. An anointed woman marked by the hand of God through her walk of obedience; with the single focus of Esther, the loyalty of Ruth and the wisdom of Deborah.

Apostle Willie B. Jefferson, the senior pastor of the New Greater Owens Temple Ministries, Inc. was born to the late Bishop Orbert and Elease Harden. She was the seventh (7) child of nine siblings. Apostle Jefferson is a native of Savannah, Georgia and presently resides in Rincon, Georgia. She married the late Pastor Paul Jefferson.   She is the proud mother of two (2) sons and three (3) daughters and the very proud grandmother of many.

Apostle Jefferson was reared in a Christian home. At an early age, she came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as her Lord and personnel Savior, and according to Acts 2:4; she was baptized with the Holy Ghost.

The call and anointing of God was recognized on her life by her father, the late Bishop O. Harden who was also her spiritual mentor and leader. Her love for God and works of ministry caused her to serve faithfully in the ministry under the leadership of her father and from him she inherited a rich legacy of character, commitment, loyalty, leadership, and love. In October 1982, she was ordained and licensed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Apostle Jefferson received an Administrative Secretarial Science Degree from Savannah Area Technical College. She earned an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry from the Revelation Message Bible College in Jacksonville, Florida where she is presently pursuing her Master’s Degree from Jacksonville Theological Institute.

In April 1994, after much prayer and fasting, Apostle Jefferson heeded and obeyed the call from the Lord to the pastorate, of New Greater Owens Temple Ministries where she presently serves.

March 31, 2007, Apostle Jefferson was affirmed and consecrated an apostle in The Lord’s Church. The honorable Apostle Dr. Idell Cheever served as the chief consecrator and Apostle Estella Hudson as Co-Consecrator.

Apostle Jefferson has a fervent zeal for the souls of men. She is a prolific preacher, who expounds the Word of God in a unique parabolic style that affords her audience very little distractions. She is a woman of much prayer and fasting. She enjoys teaching the God’s Word. She has served in every capacity of ministry of the local church and has ministered in women conferences throughout the east coast.

Under her tutelage, she has given birth to many sons and daughters. Also, diverse arms of evangelism have also been established in the ministry such as: Substance and Drug Abuse Ministry, The Homeless and Shelter Ministry, a Prison Ministry, Single’s Ministry.

Elder Carolyn Anthony-Eiland

Elder Carolyn Anthony-Eiland, a native of Savannah, Georgia. She is the daughter of the late Mr. Elmore Anthony, Jr. and Deacon Rose Anthony, and is the oldest of four siblings. She is married to Deacon Jerrell Eiland for twenty-nine wonderful years and is the mother of four children, Dwayne, Jessica, Ashley, and J. Taylor.

Elder Eiland is a 1980 graduate of Sophronia Tompkins High School; she received her collegiate education at Armstrong Atlantic State University. She receive an Associate’s degree in Nursing in May1994, and in May 2000, she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and the Don Levitt award for outstanding BSN student and a Master’s of Science in Nursing with a specialty as an adult nurse practitioner in May 2007. Also in 2007, she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, broad certified through the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) and a member of the Coastal Georgia Nurse Practitioner Council, the American Nurse Association, and the Georgia Nurses Association. Currently, Elder Eiland is a student at Troy University completing a doctoral of nursing degree, (DNP).

Elder Eiland is employed with Curtis V. Cooper Primary Health Care, Inc. where she serves dutifully as the Chief Clinical Officer and an Adult Nurse Practitioner. More than any accolade, title or degree Elder Eiland is passionate after the revealed word of God and to be taught by the greatest teacher, the Holy Spirit.

Called to a life of Holiness at the age of 27, under the leadership of the late Bishop O. Harden, she received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in 1989. Elder Eiland was called into ministry in 1994 under the leadership of Apostle W. B. Jefferson and ordained as a Minister of the Gospel in 1997 under the leadership of the Late Bishop O. Foxworth.

Presently she is serving as the Co-Pastor of the New Greater Owens Temple Ministries, Inc. in Savannah, Georgia, where she serves under Apostle W. B. Jefferson, Senior Pastor. Elder Eiland sits under her tutelage for spiritual training under the unction of the Holy Ghost.

Co-Pastor Eiland serves in various realms of ministries within the New Greater Owens Temple Ministries, Inc., to include serving on the Elders Board, Executive Board and the Women’s Ministry. A biblical scholar, she serves as adult bible study teacher, “Walking in the Word” weekly. She loves spending time in prayer, worshiping God and longs to be in the presence of the Almighty. She knows that prayer changes things & her motto is “God is a God of a Second Chance!”
